Peter Andre has opened up about whether or not he and wife Emily MacDonagh will be finding out the sex of their second child together.
The dad to Junior, ten, Princess, eight, with Katie Price and Amelia, two, with MacDonagh revealed his wife was expecting via Twitter in May 2016.
“We aren’t planning on finding out the sex because we want it to be a surprise for once,” Andre wrote in his new! magazine column.
“We’re so happy to have had our three-month scan. If it all goes to plan we will have our bubba this year.”
Andre said he couldn’t wait to share the news he and MacDonagh were expecting their second child together.
The dad, who shared the scan picture on 26 May on social media, said he didn’t even wait until the pair got home from the hospital before he put it up.
“Emily was like: ‘Could you have at least waited until we got home?’ But typical me, I couldn’t,” Andre added.
The dad-of-three said MacDonagh is not “showing” yet.
The couple welcomed their first child, Amelia, in 2014.
Andre hasn’t shied away from revealing he wanted more children with MacDonagh, previously stating he didn’t want to be “changing nappies at 50”.
“I have to wait for Emily to say yes,” Andre told OK! Online during the NTAs in January 2016.
“It might take some time.”
Qualified doctor MacDonagh, who married Andre in July 2015, has previously said she was keen to focus on her career before trying for baby number two.
She told OK! Magazine in October 2015: “I really want to see how my work’s going… it’s quite difficult for me as I love my time with Millie and I feel we have such good one-on-one time.”
